I’m so sick and tired of listening to people talk about voting for the lesser of two evils like it’s a priviledge and has to be done for the sake of the country. God forbid any foresight be put into the fact that maybe you don’t have to do that and perhaps if everyone casted their vote based on how they really felt MAYBE, and I’m going to go out on a limb.. MAYBE we wouldn’t have huge jerkoffs controlling our country for what is now 12 consecutive years.
Our freedoms are granted from the liberation of a tyrant in a war fought by our fore fathers (don’t forget what we owe). I’d like to state some really simple facts that don’t need 10,000 case studies to be validated and they really aren’t any more complex than the single line they’re written on:
- We ARE a democratic society.
- We AREa capitalist society.
- Constitution, Bill of Rights, and of course.. Declaration of Independance are the tripod of this country.
- We ARE the government of the United States.
This country was founded and is successful by the work of you and me. The government.. often spoken of in the third person as this omnipotent being that knows what’s best for us is made of everyday people just like you and me. Let me be completely clear before I go any deeper into this. PRINCIPLES, TRUTH, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS LIVE FOREVER AND THERE NOT AFFECTED WITH THE PASSING OF TIME. ALSO I’M A PATRIOT OF THIS COUNTY AND THE BELIEFS IT’S FOUNDED ON.
I’m going to immediately go to a quote that I throw around liberally because it needs to be viewed and comprehended.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the Government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. – Thomas Jefferson
The fundamental shift towards a socialist government body is dangerous and I’d rather experience the heartaches of a recession (even a depression) than the illusion of opportunity and freedom. The ground breaking and HISTORICAL 700B bailout for instance doesn’t just represent “us saving us”. It represents the death of the free market, the collapse of capitilism, and most of all the total lack of faith in the American people to show any level of resillience and rebound.
The government is so bloated and overweight.. fat with your money that you’ve given them that it seems it will never end or run out. OH BUT WAIT IT ALREADY HAS.Do you know that 100% of your federal taxes leave this country to fuel war, overseas debt, and a myriad of other financial issues you hear about but don’t really materialize because why? THE SUPPLY OF iPOD’s and fancy watches still flows, can’t afford it? No problem. You can lease these items for a low monthly payment; rent to own and you don’t need to qualify just get in the program. What’s this got to do with the government and the election?
CHANGE STARTS WITH YOU.
It’s really this simple if you want to readjust the world and put America back on track.
- VOTE FOR WHO YOU BELIEVE IN. It doesn’t matter who anyone else is voting for and it doesn’t matter if the candidates a “sure loser”. It’s what you believe in and that’s the foundation and principle that made us the greatest nation in the world.
- STOP BUYING SHIT YOU CAN’T AFFORD. This is where I become vastly unpopular for my beliefs. You don’t need a new phone, your computer is only a half a year old and guess what credit cards expect payment. We need to not spend right now? Why? Because we’ve got to reset expectations that goods are bought and sold with money we do have and not with what we don’t. Sometimes the reality is YOU DON’T DESERVE OR HAVEN’T EARNED A NEW HOUSE OR A MERCEDES. WORK HARDER. Don’t seek approval for a 1500/mo car note that you can’t afford.
- REGISTER INDEPENDANT OR FOR WHAT YOUR PART IS SUPPOSED TO STAND FOR.Our political system is totally devoid of leadership and the lines between parties has completely blurred. The media is 100% BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. Who told you that Ron Paul was unelectable even though you liked him? Who told you McCain’s a Maverick? Who said Obama doesn’t know foreign policy? A group of people like you and me that spend alot of time over analyzing intangible statements and air because this isn’t an election of substance its a house of mirrors and they’ll only let you out after November 4th to the crappy trash dump in the back of the building. Seriously though, know what your party stands for don’t let people dictate it to you.
- LIFE ISN’T FAIR. Man up and kick the shit out of it or die trying. I was born middle class not upper class and I work actively day in and out for “my goals”. Your vessel to happiness may not be financial freedom but whatever it may be only you can make that a reality. Government (your peers) aren’t going to do it for you.
I’ve been typing for awhile and this is pretty much fueled by emotion although heavily rooted in what I would now consider the very elusive “common sense” line of thinking and falls under the “undisputable fact” department. I’ll close here with the following statement in case I actually become somebody worth quoting:
I believe in the resiliency of the American people to handle the financial and emotion struggles ahead. It’s my hope that all Americans stand up and take accountability for the mess we created and work together with sacrifice in mind to defend the libery granted to us by the fore fathers of this great nation. – Michael Spinosa

“We ARE a democratic society.”
Technically, we’re more of a constitutional republic founded on democratic principles. But since I completely agree with you, I guess I’ll let this slide.. haha
Nice Jefferson quote too! Here are a couple more you’d like:
“Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto.”
“I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”
“Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence.”
And a couple from Ron Paul:
“Our country’s founders cherished liberty, not democracy.”
“Truth is treason in the empire of lies”
